Brewed in collaboration with John Nolan, of the famed Johnny’s Off Licence in Rome, this Double IPA features big citrusy hops, tropical passionfruit, guava and a hint of pine. Intensely hoppy, with a soft alcoholic finish, it pours to a deep golden hue, with a hint of hop haze, but a with a reassuring clarity.
Shaka is an East Coast Pale Ale brewed with Amarillo & Azacca. The hops add Tropical Aromas and an Orange Citrus flavor backed up with a mouthfeel that has been amped up with the addition of oats, and dextrin malts.
I’ll be Kazbek’ is a 5.2% super easy drinking hop soup. Onto a clean malt base of Pilsner, Vienna and Oats we lash on Kazbek and Huell Melon Hops. The resulting beer is a hazy straw gold with aromas of Orange, Lemon, and Peach. This carries through to the flavour, with grapefruit and strawberry joining the party. The finish is crisp and clean with bitterness kept on the low side. We used our house lager yeast to finish this one out to accentuate that crispiness.
